The Path to Dusk is a thrilling YA fantasy novel full of adventure and heart. Jermaine is a great brother, taking care of his sisters and wanting to make the world a better place. His relationship with his sisters is at the heart of this story, and it’s wonderful to see Black teens as the chosen ones. I definitely recommend reading this series in order, but you could also start with this prequel. I’m already impatient for book 4 and can’t wait to see what happens next with Opal and Jermaine!
