Ljudmila Ulitskaya’s Novel “The Funeral Party” (1997)

As a book blogger, I’m always on the lookout for new authors to explore. Recently, I’ve been jumping from one new-to-me author to the next, but I wasn’t always like this. When I was younger, especially while studying French literature, I would often stick to one author and read one of their books after the other. When you find an author you like, it’s so rewarding to explore their entire body of work. It’s a great way to get to know their writing style and the themes they explore in their stories. I’m still looking for that perfect author who I can really connect with, and I’m sure I’ll find them soon!
